Problems In Snowboard Processing

Dec 31,2021

Separately, the Ski Board manufacturing process may seem simple, but it is actually quite complicated. If there is a problem at every step, it will affect the overall quality of the snowboard. Today, the snowboard manufacturers will talk to you about the problems that are easy to occur in the production and processing of snowboards, and help you buy snowboards on a more basis.

We have talked about the steps of making skis before, so I won’t go into details here. When making skis, there are relatively few problems with abrasives and cores, but they are not always without problems. It may be that the thickness of the head or tail of the board is not enough or the height is not enough. Secondly, if the camber angle is not enough, the dry edge strips will affect the adhesion of the ski. However, these two parts are generally not problematic.

The most problematic part is the panel printing part. The printing methods of skis are roughly divided into three types: thermal transfer, digital printing, and screen printing. When using thermal transfer printing, due to temperature changes, sometimes the color changes and the color will be different during mass production. There is no need to use it as a sample or small batch production. The printing speed of digital printing is slightly slower, suitable for making models, and the color is more accurate. As long as the silkscreen has the correct color number, the color difference problem will generally not occur. When printing on the panel, it needs to be in a clean, airtight space to prevent dust from affecting the print quality. The printer will check every step of the way to prevent particles from appearing in the pattern. However, after printing, the panel will be pasted with protective paper on the adhesive part. If there is a problem at this time, it will only be discovered in the end.

There are also fewer problems with the adhesive part of the snowboard, but there are also problems with large adhesive gaps or leakage of dry edges. Finally, you can intuitively see the degree of operation on the polished part of the snowboard, so there is generally no problem.

The above problems are all problems that may be encountered in the production and processing of skis. Therefore, when purchasing snowboards in large quantities, it is necessary to choose a strong Snowboard Factory. Professional quality control and quality inspection can avoid many quality problems of skis.
